29.3.2008

Today we did some more sightseeing stuffs. We saw the Secession Building, which was designed and built in the late 1800's as part of an art revolution in Vienna. We saw St. Stephan’s church and went to part of a mass. It was really cool to hear everything in German but I was a little too afraid to take communion in a gigantic throng of people. So instead we left and got Käsekrainer (yummy yummy cheesy sausage in a bun!) and walked through the Hofburg. Es war sehr schön!

We also went to the Naschmarkt and walked around looking at all the vendors’ booth. It’s basically an enormous Farmer’s market that is there every day of the week!

We spent the rest of the day being really tired and just kinda lounged around the hostel. We walked around Mariahilfe Gasse and went into a crazy hip hop shop and got invited to the Maria Carey CD release party downtown!! Haha, but I’m pretty sure nobody went. We finished off the evening by sitting in a random stairwell stealing wireless form a local business. All in all a good day of laziness.
